WHAT IS THE MODERN WORKPLACE REPORT?

In 2018, Condeco conducted a survey of around 500 office managers, senior executives and administrators in six countries; the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France, Germany, Australia and Singapore.

It emphasized on how office environments can perform a momentous part in impelling productivity, aptitude, well-being, and other facets of employees.

The conclusion to this survey was based on four things that were considered in employees working in these environments;

• The state of the workplace, including climatic conditions and other alterations.
• The modifications in the workplace, including racial diversities, generational differences and the extent of environmental awareness.
• Regulations in the workplace and their influence when imposed on employees.
• The influence of technology and how it aids in connecting employees, enabling them to collaborate much better and improve productivity.

THE STATE OF THE WORKPLACE:

When it comes to the productivity and well-being of the employees, the workplace is irrefutably one of the decisive elements. Creating an appropriate environment for the workers is not only an aesthetic choice, but it can also improve or deplete their productivity. This includes everything, from the furniture to the sanitation.

According to the survey, 70% of the employees agreed that they’d want to bring companions along with them to their workplace, while 68% agreed that it depends on the atmosphere of their offices.

If the workplaces don’t meet the expectations of employees, they will simply go somewhere it does. According to the survey, 62% of the employees agreed that the state of the workplace is essential to their recruitment proposal.
